SURREY SAVATE KICKBOXING RULES SEMINAR, 15th March 2025

SATURDAY 15th MARCH 2025, BROOKWOOD MEMORIAL HALLS, GU24 0AL, 1PM - 2.30PM
An exciting new fast-paced, light-contact competition format.
We invite existing martial artists from other disciplines, as well as our existing members, to this FREE ‘learn about’ and ‘have a go’ seminar, with a view to joining our charity fundraiser competition and BBQ in June, with all proceeds going to Refuge, supporting victims of domestic abuse (details below).
If nothing else, enjoy a free day of cross-training, lunch and coffee on us. Strictly by pre-registration only as spaces are limited. If you are not able to attend, the seminar will be available by video on our website, shortly after the event.
LIGHT CONTACT COMPETITION IN ASSOCIATION WITH REFUGE
BROADWATER SCHOOL, GODALMING, SATURDAY 21st JUNE 2025
Our friendly, light contact kickboxing competition and BBQ, all proceeds go to Refuge, a charity supporting victims of domestic abuse.
This event is perfect for children and beginners, and includes ‘Savate Duo’ *(see below) for those who are unsure about competing.
We encourage and welcome enquiries from kickboxing clubs in other styles, but they must either sign up to the FREE seminar, 15th March (details above) or have completed the ‘online training’ (video) available here soon

*Savate Duo is a team vs team ‘skills match’, where each team consists of a pair of children working cooperatively to demonstrate light contact techniques. It gives unsure children the opportunity to get used to performing on the mats in front of parents with all the fun of jumping and spinning kicks, without the pressure of a competitive match.
